KCMO 64131 816-822-7427 Lindsay Shannon, a great lover of the blues,
who has had a great Sunday blues radio show up and running for years has put his
two favorite things together and created BB's Lawnside BBQ. Located just South
and East of midtown, BB's is kind of in it's own world. These guys have been
serving up some of the best BBQ in Kansas City since the very beginning and
there is usually a live band performing most nights of the week. Sundays at
BBQ's Lawnside BBQ have become famous. Get there early in the afternoon, eat
some great BBQ, then have a few "cold ones" as Lindsay would say and stick
around to hear the live band, which on Sunday is usually someone great! Check

OThe last time that we went out to see Lindsay and crew was on a
beautiful Sunday afternoon and we just had the best time! I think the
band was Brody Buster or someone like that but they were awesome! The
food is always good, this time we got the BBQ ribs (again) and they were
good as always. They always take really good care of us at BB's Lawnside
BBQ and we will definitely be back!

Stop in for a COLD ONE! Not only do we love BB's food but we also love
Lindsay's show. We are Sunday afternoon regulars and we just can't say
enough about the rockin' good times that we have had through the years
with Lindsay and his great staff at BB's. Long live the king!

Can't get more bang for your buck at any other BBQ restaurant in Kansas
City, that is for sure. Not only do you get some high quality Q for a
decent price, you also get to enjoy some great blues while your eating
it. Beat that! Be sure and get there early enogh if you're going on
Sunday as it did take a few minutes to seat us the last time we went.

Five stars all around for BB's. What a nice crew of staff and Lindsay
even came over and talked to us in person and asked how everything was
going. We said that we were really enjoying the burnt ends and to tell
the band to play Mustang Sally! Would recommend to friends.

We do like to come to BB's occassionally and my wife and her family are
big fans. I'm more of a Jack Stack guy myself, but it is a very unique
and interesting place. Maybe I should have had my wife write this
review! Either way, we will see you guys again soon I'm sure :)
